Library Lines By: Deanna Beaver

Hey everyone, I will be retiring October second. I hope we will have a new librarian hired that I can train before then. I don't know about whether they will write library lines. I will introduce you to the person as soon as possible. This is  my farewell letter to the community. After twelve years here, I was hoping maybe I rated having it on the front page. I will have the library lines to you shortly and continue to write them untill I leave. It has been my joy and privilege to have worked with you all and am so grateful for all the wonderful coverage you have given us over the years. I love you all and pray God's richest blessings on everyone.        Love and Prayers,   Deanna

The weather is hot and sizzling but the library is cool and comfortable. Come on in and get your quilt chance, check out a book or DVD/ video, use the free Internet access, get a copy or send a fax, visit the food pantry, make a donation, or just visit. We would love to see you and we are here to serve you.

We are so grateful for the people who have been so faithful to help the food pantry stay in operation. This week we have had donations from Beth Gray, Deanna Beaver, Ranita Bednarz, Della Rannefeld, and Betty Wojtek. This is such a worthwhile service and many people are taking advantage of the opportunity. We are thankful for the all the people who volunteer their time and funds to make this a success. Keep up the good work.

We are currently accepting applications for the position of librarian. Please come by the library and pick up an application and submit your resume. This is a 20 hour a week position. There will be paid holidays and sick leave after a year of service. The board will consider each application and schedule interviews. Time is of the essence. Please hurry in if you are interested in joining this great organization.

Quilt tickets are on sale now for the beautiful quilt donated by Margaret Anna Cox and handcrafted by Natha Locklear. Come by the library and see the wonderful creation and get your chances soon. All donations are greatly appreciated.

WE NEED YOUR DONATIONS to help pay for the meat and other essentials for the Fall Fest Bull Riding Concession Stand. All donations are tax deductible and we will give lots of recognition for your sponsorship. Help us make this fundraiser a huge success.
